R&I Lawyers’ Network Reception

21/01/10

The R&I Lawyers' Network, established to promote the benefits of associate membership of the ILA, was launched at a reception held at The Old Hall in Lincoln's Inn on the evening of 21 January 2010. The reception was attended by many rising stars from the major law firms, chambers and other organisations who have a particular interest in R&I.

Junior counsel from the IMO Carwash case, Richard Fisher, Adam Al-Attar and Stephen Horan (who appeared for the company, the senior lenders and the mezzanine lenders, respectively) treated guests to a lively panel discussion entitled "Junior creditors...all washed up?" examining the repercussions of the IMO Carwash decision. The panel discussion was followed by a drinks reception, allowing guests to socialise with one another.

Photographs from the evening are located here.
