Revised SIP 16: JIC Consultation

13/01/15

The Joint Insolvency Committee has launched a consultation, following the publication in June 2014 of the Graham Report on Pre-packs (see our news item of 19 June 2014), on a revised SIP 16.

The terms of the JIC consultation are limited to seeking views on whether it will be practicable for an insolvency practitioner to comply with the requirements of the revised SIP 16.

The Technical Committee will be responding to the consultation, which closes on 2 February 2015, and that response will be posted on the website in due course.

Members may however also wish to submit comments direct to the JIC; the email address for responses is jic_sip_consultation@icaew.com

The revised draft SIP 16 is available below.
