Inaugural Law Debenture Seminar

12/05/10

On 12th May 2010 a packed house attended the Inaugural Law Debenture Seminar at The London Capital Club.  Entitled "Aspects of Financial Restructuring" the panel, chaired by William Trower QC, was ably supported by James Roome of Bingham McCutcheon LLP, Richard Rance of The Law Debenture Corporation Plc, Peter Marshall of Houlihan Lokey and Nigel Barnett of Denton Wilde Sapte LLP.

The panel explored how best to restructure a hypothetical Italian media group with subsidiaries in Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg.  The panel explored not only the legal issues flowing from the exercise, but also gave considerable insight into the practical issues surrounding a complex financial restructuring.  The subject fostered a lively debate between the panellists and was agreed by all attending to be a great success.

The seminar was followed by a drinks reception during which the debate continued.
