Joanne Rumley leads Foot Anstey LLPs Restructuring and Insolvency team. Her role is focused on opportunities for turnaround rescue and restructure, providing board room advice, acting for distressed equity and debt providers and managing formal insolvency processes. Joanne is an ILA Council Member and actively involved in the ILA Technical Committee and is also a director of Turnaround Management Association (UK). She co-authors the chapter on Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships in Tolley's Insolvency Law.
Rachael Markham is a Senior Professional Development Lawyer at Squire Patton Boggs LLP’s working as the team’s Professional Support Lawyer across the firm’s national Restructuring & Insolvency practice. Rachael is an active member of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association (ILA) Technical Committee and R3’s General Technical Counsel. She has also co-authored the chapter on Administration Appointments for inclusion in the forthcoming edition of Lightman & Moss: The Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies.
Alex Barden KC is a barrister at Fountain Court Chambers, specialising in corporate, insolvency and commercial litigation. He has acted on many of the largest corporate insolvencies since the 2008 financial crisis, including RBS, Kaupthing, Lehman, MF Global and Comet. Alex regularly acts for insolvency practitioners in high-value and cross-border fraud asset recovery claims. He is a contributor to Company Directors: Law and Liability, to Buckley on the Companies Acts and to Lightman and Moss on the Law of Administrators.
