Annual Conference

In spring each year ILA members gather together for their Annual Conference. The Annual Conference is typically held at a four or five star hotel and conference centre in the UK, and combines an excellent technical programme, a formal black tie dinner and numerous opportunities for informal networking and know how sharing.

The Annual Conference commences with drinks on the Friday evening, a formal programme of technical lectures and discussions during Saturday, followed by a formal black tie dinner on Saturday evening. Delegates then depart after breakfast on Sunday morning. Attendance by partners and spouses is encouraged and the format and setting is designed to encourage participation by delegates for either the full weekend or on a day rate basis.

The Annual Conference is usually chaired by a senior member of the judiciary and is very popular and over subscribed.

Annual Dinner

Each year the ILA holds its prestigious Annual Dinner in the stunning setting of the Natural History Museum in Kensington, London. The event is a highlight of the UK insolvency year for leading solicitor firms and chambers and a great opportunity for inviting guests, marketing and networking. In addition, a leading judge is invited each year to provide the pre-dinner lecture.
